Dry Valleys, Antarctica

'Lest some of you think Antarctica is a continent covered entirely by a mile thick layer of ice, here's some images of the Dry Valleys that a friend took.  She said it was very windy, cold and beautiful. A majestic, strangely stunning place with rocks shaped and scoured by the wind.
