I was fortunate enough to join a group going to an afternoon matinee show of Jeff King's Husky Homestead, "Where dogs are King", earlier this week. The puppies were cute and a big crowd pleaser. I was a bit disappointed that Jeff was not around, but this was the first day they were trying an extra show and it wasn't a very big crowd, maybe 20 of us. Jeff's helpers were good and shared a lot of information with us. From how to take care of 40 dogs, dealing with Alaskan winters, race sled evolution and winning the Iditarod. It was a good show and it was nice to get away from work for a while.
