Kekova & Kalekoy

Lizzy & I rode a mini-bus to Ucagiz for our sea kayak adventure.  A week later I rode a bus for a gulet boat ride.  Same place, different companions.  We went to the island of Kekova, where the famous underwater city (ruins) are located. Then to the Crusader fortress in Kalekoy, a protected village on the site of the ancient city of Simena.  Amazing trip, beautiful weather, clear blue water, awesome!

Nice day for a nap in the sun.

Our local guide on both trips.

Unloading at one of the stops to see ancient roman ruins.

The dock was a challenge to walk on.

Cute local kid who's only english was "Hello!"
